We will leave Vienna around 9 AM and after a scenic drive through Vienna woods we will get to SCHALLABURG.

The castle is an imposing , cross-generational piece of art. With structures as old as the 11th century, it was converted into a Renaissance castle in the 16th century. The tier-cotta courtyard is unique in the world.

The large historical garden is a place of contemplation, a retreat for relaxing, picnicking, hanging around AND the very best place for ARCHERY.

After visiting the castle we will have plenty of time to enjoy medieval BOW & ARROW shooting!

Afterwards we will have a drink together and I will take you back to Vienna and drop you off at your hotel.

That tour can be very good combined with my private Danube valley day excursion. So you can make it a full day excursion.

Lunch can be included and there are a couple of great vineries just around the corner.

Melk abbey is only 5 minutes away and a boat ride from Melk to Dürnstein, would be a guarantee for a perfect afternoon. Walking up to Dürnstein ruin, one glass of Vienna at the end and back to Vienna. MORE INFORMATION HERE
